Who we are
Brain Academy was founded in June 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic by Dara, an 11 year old girl in year 6, with a unique passion to teach and mentor other kids to achieve excellence in their academics.
She realised that a huge gap has been created by the school closures, meaning that lots of children will fall behind in their academics, and unfortunately for some, that gap may never be recovered. Brain Academy exists to bridge that gap as much as possible.
She offers bespoke one to one and group online tutoring for primary school kids from Reception up to year 6, and Secondary School students from year 7 to 9, catering to kids of all abilities.

What is unique about us
We understand that children are different and learn at their own pace. Lessons are tailored to each child’s need and pace.
Children enjoy learning from their own peer under no pressure from an adult.
Having another child who understands them and speaks in a way that they identify with helps them relax and learning becomes fun and effective.
There is perhaps more importantly, beyond the academics, the added benefit of children being inspired by seeing another child like them doing something great, which will spark up in them a desire to find and express their own unique gift.
